Those who follow my blog have probably already noticed that my project "Minisoldiers 1/72" has been discontinued. The homepage is also no longer accessible. The aim of my project was to show every figure pose unpainted and then painted in a video of every figure set in 1/72 (plastic and some made of tin (own series and by Massimo Costa, Newline Design, etc.). You can see the previous videos here (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2_dDLNSCHUQ&list=PLzwDsBN8AGAkeZLhMN6M4FbieVePPhYM9&index=1) For this project I have collected a lot of sprues and complete sets ("normal" series and A-series of Strelets).
The project was intended to help collectors, diorama builders and tabletop players to show how some "bad" sets could be made into something with color.
It would have taken me many years to paint everything and take photos and make videos. Calls that other collectors provided me with pictures of their finished figures for the production of introductory videos (I would have given names too) gave no response.
Since my life does not only consist of the figure hobby and I am now also very committed to helping stray dogs in Romania (
https://www.streuner-seelen.de) and this also takes time, I decided to start the project "Minisoldiers 1 / 72 "to cancel. I sold a lot of sprues and complete sets in the last few months and part of the proceeds went to my donation box for Romanian street dogs (castration, medical care, food, etc.).
However, I keep some sprues and sets because I don't want to give up painting figures. It's relaxation and you can come to rest. This means that there will be introductory videos from time to time. But the big project "Minisoldiers 1/72" is over. You can see which figure sets can be seen painted on the page of my blog, which I have linked
https://miniaturen1-72.blogspot.com/p/manufactures-172.html... (from 01.01.2021 all major manufacturers and introduction videos are linked). My offer to collectors is still that if you have painted figure sets, you can send me the pictures (email: hobbyminiaturen@web.de) and I will make such introduction videos. Manufacturers are also welcome to get in touch and send me their painted sets via pictures.
