You mistake my abilities.
The process was I designed it on paper - based on an existing church in Normandy & scaled it down to 1/76.
I then took the design & measurements to a small chap who owns a laser cutter. He cut the pieces out and then, somewhat annoyingly, assembled it.
The problem was my plan to install "stained glass" (photocopied transparencies) came to nought because I couldn't get inside to glue them on. To disassemble it would have certainly ended in breakage.
C'est la guerre. It's a wargaming model.

Base coat was a dark granite grey, nuln oil wash than extensive dry-brushing using a light, sea grey. The base was the usual dry-brushed coarse sand. The doors (& the floor on the top of the tower you cannot see) was etched by the machine so I masked them off then later put a sepia wash on them.
