I don't have problems using herbes to create some trees and bushes because I'm the cook in the house!

Great looking base Huib!

Figures
This gun and tractor are well suited for a combat scene, but in that case they need some figures. I nicked these in the end form a Hasegawa 88mm Flak 18 kit. Their scale is 1/72, so they are a tad too big.

Image
On the left the monkey-like Airfix driver. But as he is mainly hidden in his cab that's not too bad. Next to him the Hasegawa figures. All prepared for painting.

Image
Painted in the 1939 uniform style, with grey trousers and helmet.

Model and figures positioned on the base. I added two 1/76 Matchbox figures from the Sd.Kfz 232 kit for a more lively scene.

Finished. Final pictures soon!

Very interesting the manufacturing process of the base, tree and bramble, huib (including the risk taken in obtaining the original materials for the plants).

The tractor and cannon look impressive, as do the figures that complete the diorama. By the way, the difference in scale between them is hardly noticeable. ;-)

The final result is amazing.

Congratulations!

Santi.

this project has been in my thoughts for quite some time, but always was afraid of the various angles of the superstructure. I think I will use your sketch for measurements and angles. I intend building this model/conversion on the Hasegawa kit. I used this kit to build the A4V2 rocket control vehicle.
Very impressive work as always.
