US Infantry North Africa

Posted by Donald Duck on 03 Dec 2014, 22:50

Hi guys, I'm very busy at school during this period. I wish I could take part more actively to the forum life.
Anyway I can still find a few spare time to paint some figures...

This GI down below is supposed to be set in North Africa, at Kasserine Pass, with an abandoned Sd.Kfz. 222 .
The figure comes from one set of Caesar's, I can't remember if the first or the second.

Anyway I had to cut off the shovel (which was a late version) and add the classic M-1928 Haversack plus M-1910 "T-Handle" Shovel.

I hope you like it :-)

Thanks to all of you, guys.

I'm going to start a second figure which I will use as well as this one for my small ambientation...

This is a DAK feldmutze I tried to paint with the classical insignas... tough work!

Very nice figure!
But for Kasserine, would be wearing HBT pale green fatigues and perhaps a Parsons jacket for the cold nights?
