1/72 CMK - Waffen SS Tankers (IMG&Link Review)

Posted by Panzer_Grenadire on 27 Jan 2015, 23:09

Although putting forward an extremely attractive subject in 1/72 scale, namely Waffen SS Panzer troopers wearing the appropriate wrapper for their branch of service, the CMK’s set “Waffen SS Tankers WW II”, suffers by an incurable malady, gigantism, and cure will never be available for them, as also the size comparison photo attests.

The full review and much more images are available here:

Due to some close features, I took the opportunity to try representing the legendary Kurt Knispel, the all time no. 1 tank ace, but few more words about are inside the review.

Cristian--

Great paint work on these figures. Did you paint the examples from CMK in the displayed review? If so, let me compliment you on significant improvement in your technique for painting faces.

Thank you very much for your message and I am happy you enjoyed them. As regards the painting technique, I used the same I apply for more than 5 years...maybe the close-up photo of "Kurt Knispe" gave you this impression...;) Once again, thank you very much and I hope you shall enjoy the next sets I am going to post fairly soon...:)
