Hi everybody,
finally, a new project is finished. It’s a scene showing the swimming pool of a Roman Bath, called by the Romans the “piscina“ (fish pond). To be precise, it is the women’s section of the thermae, so be prepared for some nude females (I’m sure you guys can handle this without getting a heart attack or something).
This is a triple first for me: 1) The first time I have been using nude figures (some are by Phersu, others by Imperial, to be obtained via Hagen Miniatures). 2) The first time I have done an indoor scene in a doll-house-like diorama. 3) The first time I have tried the ingenious method for creating water surfaces that was presented by Wolfgang Meyer and his team some time ago. It makes use of a slab of clear acrylic glass, onto which the water structure is modeled, see for instance here.
