"Borodino 07.September1812, Big Cavalry Free-for-all“

 Amazing work.
I especially like the part where the Westphalians cross that stream - there's even the water splashing up where the horses moved through...

Wow! Looks like this dio was well-researched. It's definitely well-painted, with very clean and precise lines.
Great detail shots, would love to see a few more overall pictures (other than the one from above).

Patrick wrote:I will add another wow, and throw in an outstanding! as well. I think I recognize some Zvezda horses, what sets did you use for this?

The terrain is great as well, by the way!

Hallo Patrick, :-D

I only used horses from "Zvedza"

Set 8026 Russian Cuirassiers
Set 8037 French Cuirassiers 1807-1815
Set 8035 Saxon Cuirassiers
Set 8055 Russian Hussars

Many of the horses are conversions!
Especially with the russian hussars and the French Carabiniers/Cuirassiers.

Greetings Egbert :-)

You don't happen to have any photos of work in progress or details of how you converted some of the figures, by any chance? If so, would love to see them - my own converted figures always seem so fragile !

Hallo k.b. :-D
here are some shots of the work in progress.
unfortunately I did not make any pictures of the conversions of the figures and the horses :( ;-)

That's a nice slice of the work in progress shown in those fist few shots. My kind of Stuff! Love It! That Diorama Base: a First- rate Dream! Congratulations you`ve raised the bar. BB

This work is simply stupendous. Absolutely everything.... Very hard indeed to find fault.
Perhaps if I look closer. "Holmes, have you got any clues?" ;.)

So amazing. Every aspect is impressive - especially that you were able to stick to it and finish it. I have a big project that has been stalled for a while. You've inspired me! :)
