Isolani’s Croat Regiment

Hi, these fellows are going to reinforce my Imperial TYW Army.

I tried to represent the Cavalry Regiment raised by the Croat war leader Isolani from Wallenstein’s Leibgarde.

Not having any specific set of TYW Croats, I used instead 5 Orion and 1 Zvezda Cossack figures (picking from them the one’s wearing the most appropriate garment and dressing) and 3 Mars Polish Lisovchiki.

A very interesting unit of figures from a period yours truly knows absolutely nothing about!
Love your work which is outstanding as always, nicely grouped, painted and washed and the only downside for me is one or two poorly animated horses! My favourite figure is the standard bearer......keep them coming!
