Hi,

It's been a while but I got a chance to do some pics to add to my blog (link below). These are Newline Designs 20mm Ancient Spanish range.

Great paintjob! Bright and colorful, but looking realistic at the same time - a combination that is difficult to achieve.

Great brush job. Thanks for sharing: I am painting a Carthaginian DBA army and your color scheme will help with my Iberian caetrati. I am not sure I'll go for the same wonderful shields.

Great job on the various shield designs. I prefer to paint in assembly line fashion so more orderly troop types tend to be my favorites. I would never be able to come up with some many different color combinations of my own so thanks for posting your work.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I think by the time I dug out the lighter and darker shades for each colour and worked out the schemes it took longer to paint the shields than it did the main bodies. After finishing these I moved on to some 6mm modern armour and just painted drab greens for a while to get over the colours lol.
