This is a part of history I didn't know! You did a fantastic job on this dramatic scene!

This Dio is terrific, in every sense of the word. Great modelling, lovely figure painting and spine chilling atmosphere. Just thinking about how that apparatus might work made my eyes water.

Mention of the Pendle Witches always gives me mixed feelings. My second thought is to remind myself that this was a particularly nasty time in our history when we were the religious extremists. I'm prepared to believe that some of the people involved in these witch trials just might have been in league with the Devil, but not necessarily the ones who were on trial.
But my first thought is always of a real ale I got in Ambleside called "Pendle Witches Brew" which is so good it just might be sinful.

Thought provoking scene.

I saw one of this, I think the torture device beside many others devices in Kalemegdan fortress...I was disturbed because they putted lithography on the wall of how torture device was used... I isn't for those with weak stomach and active imagination... One thing that I thought is how we are lucky to live in this time...

Probably they don't know who is the father, so they think it is the Devil...You know how people back than explained all things they didn't knew... I think there is a Franco Belgian comic on similar subject called Le Scorpion, really good comic... About a man called Scorpion, who lived in XVI century, who has a scorpion birthmark, and because of that his mother was accused of being a witch and was burned alive...Really good comic...

This isn't a matter of taste. As sad as it is this is historical fact and this forum is (mostly) about historical figures.
Author didn't offended no one at national, racial, political or some other level and I'm sure he wouldn't enjoy to be a part of it in real life. Just as I'm sure people don't enjoy putting dead soldiers on their dioramas... but it is sad fact that people were killed during wars and tortured as well :(
