Wild Wild West

Posted by Taipeh on 02 Nov 2016, 13:25

This time I want to Show a not quite serious Diorama in the time of the ACW , but this time in the Steampunk Universe. When I saw the Mowie Wild wild West in TV with my wife, she ask me, why do you not build a Diorama like this with your modells.
That was the beginning of a combination of some Modell of my Steampunk range with figure from the Texas Brigade range. And as it should be in the South in USA, part of the Diorama should be a corn field. First I try to use the corn field from Noch, but than Erik Trauner shows me some handmade plants from a shop in USA. A Little bit expensive, but the result is outstanding.
Hope you enjoy the Diorama:

A well done row of walking soldier lines.
And the last man in the row is a nice touch. As the black mama. With her orange underwear and the colored man with the yellow trouser.
I would prefer too the south army with her different colorful clothing.
With the steam machines it smells a bit for ACW 66 like Heer 46.
The hayrack is a little bit hidden.
I only miss crows.
A nice dio.
:yeah:

Congratulations on some very good work,
and splendid troops and others things.

A Real Good Diorama

I like the fantasy element marching along with the Johnny Rebs who could well win the war,
but I hope not. I believe freedom for all toy figures is their right.
Those toy figures against that view should be melted down in a black sooty cauldron. :-D BB

Just great! :yeah: A beautiful diorama, great characters, a masterful painting and super photos.
My favorite is the fighting machine! I love fancy models - and this model is REALLY unusual. :-D
Congratulations!
