Great work.

What do you think of the ACE kit? I do not have any kits from ACE, I have read many bad reviews about the poor quality of the plastic because they are short run kits.

Well done Carlos.
The Coin.

It is very nice that you show us for size comparsion a ACE Sdkfz 10 in 1/72.
With all these add on parts like windscreen wiper, exhaust, folded roof, track, glass (dirty) for the headlight and several other small bits to improve this halftruck.
And after the destruction of the car ( Jeep Airfix Buffalo Kit?) someone put a warning shield in the sand. Don`t think it was the driver of the car.
One bad thing is that the front tire of the Sdkfz 10 get no more pattern. They are totally worn out.
I could swear that the new supply tire are on the ground in the Mediterrnean Sea.
Surprisingly if you buy a new unopened kit from ACE these tire are always worn out.
Also you put a lot of work into the figure for realistic pose.
Nice groundwork.
:yeah:

Do you too have heard the rumor that four guy who exchange her Sdkfz 10 for a small rowing boat. Commanded by an Italian Navigator, to leave Africa via Tunis ...

Many thanks for the nice and generous comments fellows.
Well..what to say about the ACE kits, ACE have the vehicles that we the soft skinners love in the plastc that all the modelers hate. Kits are poor in details (ACE try to resolve it adding some photo etched parts), as Wiking say, wheels are good, but have not draws in pneumatic (anyway this happens with almost all the manufacturers in the scale), plastic is so soft that even the more fine sand paper let marks and scratches, and is too much reactive to the ketonic glues...so it need a lot of care and extra-work, some pieces have to be done in plastic card cause the original are useless...but they are the only company who have a sdkfz 10 in plastic in the scale, so...if want to make one, you have be patience and to go for an ACE kit.

About the weathering, I did it with the classic "three paintings" first a,Airbrush base with "enamels", second an airbrush with acrylics (then with a Hairbrush and alcohol the acrylic is removed in the more exposed parts to wear away the paint and make chips) third the oil washes for dust etc.

Wiking, In fact these guys come from the coast, where they tried to change the half-track for a boat, but the last boat was taken by a guy called Francesco who sank him in a island near Sardinia. The african fishermen offered some very useful yellow inflatable ducklings in exchange , but being some tough guys from the Afrika Korps they rejected it for a prestige question.
