here is my entry of the 49th Painting Competition. It was great fun, again. Thanks to all voters (and I mean all) and to all contributors. I´m glad you liked the scene and I hope you will enjoy these additional images:
Ben90-- I admire all of your amazing skills: painting, composition, terrain, photography. But perhaps your work with the two-part epoxy (green stuff) the best of all. Would you ever consider publishing a tutorial? I would be seated in the front row, notepad in hand.
Worthy of the Golden Chisel for sculpting. Individually your figures are lovely, but the way they worked together was just sublime. And, of course, the painting is magnificent.
Honestly, I voted both for and against this but from day one I was sure it would be the eventual winner, and deserved to be.
I agree with all the opinions of the mates: you are a master, Ben90. It's easy to explain why you're the Golden Brush Winner.
I still remembered your "Vercingetorix surrendering to Caesar" diorama. It really left me breathless when I saw the pictures and this new diorama reminds me of that one.
