Roman Balista bolt thrower

I got this small set to add to my Roman Mile Fort, in the end didn't use it, so made this small diorama. Hope you like it

Very nice indeed! That's a terrific little model of the balista and I like the way you've painted the wood and bronze on it. The figures look great too.

Love it! But I'm glad I'm not defending a hillfort near Dorchester while looking at this though. :mrgreen:

Thanks Bluefalchion, It's a nice set of figures, I had some shield decals left from doing the Roman Mile Fort, I could never paint that shield to anywhere near that standard. :-D

Thanks Graeme, Glad you like it. I don't think the Romans bothered with Tavistock, but the Vikings did, they came up the Tamar River, and had a loving time doing what Vikings do best, all that's left of the Abbey that was here is a couple of walls in the middle of town
