Those are really beautiful and worth the investment into metal. You have done, as always, an amazing job! I would agree with all of your sentiments regarding French infantry pre-Bardin, (although I've grown to be a little bit fond of those odd stocky HaT French!) These guys are amazing and the energy and variety of poses give life to what would usually be a pretty stiff marching formation. Good to have you back but careful with the elbow! It's probably caused by the crazy amount of painting that you do... Now off to check the Franz Nap site.
Cracking stuff as usual. I can just hear the voice of complaint with fiddly tiny parts that do not wish to cooperate. In the end, I am glad you put in the effort and even more grateful that you showed us here the pictures.
Tell me, when you have filled up the entire Brazil with your painted Napoleonic units, where will start to store them next?
They are very nice lively looking figures and the painting is terrific. I'm amazed at how in that mass of white facings, white waistcoat, white cross belts and white straps on the front of the figures every little detail shows distinctly.
