New diorama pictures …

„Is this the right way...?“

Commander: Excuse me sir, is this the right way to Berlin? Unfortunately we have lost our way.

Farmer: Yes, but that's about 1800 kilometers! At the next apple tree left and then always straight ahead. But why do you want to go there? The war is over. :eh:

Commander: Oh dear ...... !!!

Have fun. :-D

Hellboy`s way of modelling.
This style of Dio is unmasking.

Very nice build all around. The tank and the figures, the dog. The orange heat figure too :-D .
I like special your idea with the dry clay at the wall of the house. Additional it is painted in white and weathered. As the very nice made roof. Now you are running out of brushes ?

A very early T34 version. And the war is now over !
This T34 crew change the whole war the transmission the motor and the gears ? Or do they try to fill up all the the wheels with 2,5 bar air pressure?
And now all is done by her comrades they are able to drive to the victory parade !

The mud and straw daubing on the house is excellent, so too is the thatched roof.

Great composition, nice dusty appearence on the tank, and I really like the scarecrow. I notice the tank crew has already nicked one of the farmers pumpkins while he's busy painting his house, that's a nice detail.

Very nice scene all round.

Really nice modelling.

Personally in late summer1941 I would not be painting the door but packing!

This is a nice composition but the rest of the crew on show would in my opinion lift it even higher.

The thatch is terrific. How did you achieve this please as I want to copy it!

Super work.

Best wishes,

Chris

Very nice! And it is always good to talk to locals! :-D Reminds me a little of my old competition entry: http://bennosfiguresforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19051&p=205740&hilit=morristown#p205740 . Love your figures and details, but that scarecrow is the top of them all!

Guys, thank you for your kind comments!!!!!! I am very happy that you liked the diorama! :-D

Chris, to your question. I used the product 'Getreidefeld & Schilf' (Order number: HO 7375) from the company 'Busch' for the roof. Here is a link ...

https://www.busch-model.info/000007375.3

You can use the product for many things. Dry grass, reeds, young cereals, etc. It is a natural product and can be painted very well. :yeah: There is no primer necessary. You only need some water, a drop of color ... that's all. Have fun with it !!

Susofrick, I'm glad you like the scarecrow so much. I love such accessories too! This scarecrow is from the manufacturer 'MaiM' and has the order number MAIM72002. Here is a link:

Kekso, thank you for your nice comment! I am very glad that you like the diorama. :-D I have to admit that I really enjoyed working on the diorama. Especially the painting of the flowers and plants was a nice job !!! What a fun!
However, I will not use the sunflowers again. In that case, plastic is better than photo etched parts. But it was still a good experience.

The plants in the model scenario are all used in the HO proportional train model?

This is great. It does feel a bit like the tank as the BIg Bad Wolf arriving at grandmother's house, which makes it all the more delightful. Really nice!

Thank you for your question. Of course you are right. Almost all plants are of size H0. The manufacturer is 'Busch'. I can recommend all flowers and plants. Even the small animals are suitable for the size 1/72. :yeah:
If you want, you can follow the link. Maybe you can find something for your next projects.
