AWI - US Continentals

Posted by CPN on 29 Mar 2020, 18:16

Hi,
Please find attached a quick overview of my Continentals with infantry, cavalry and artillery.
The infantry is composed of lights and line Continentals.
Cavalry conversions are detachments of the 1st and 3rd dragoons.
Artillery are one company of Continentals. One Maryland artillery Cy, and the New York Lambs artillery Cy.
Finally two generals to command the lot.
Stay safe.

Hi CPN,
great assortment of troops!
I see that there are more people out there doing AWI incl conversions / head swaps.
I do the same, including extra heads that I have made me with Hagen Miniatures.
I also appreciate your constant harrasing of HäT that they will finally bring out their range :-).

Keep up the great work!!!!

Lovely to see the ‘Washington’s Army’ guys back in action, memories indeed.

Very nice conversions on show.

May I suggest a little light inking ala Crynns to bring out the facial detail?

It worked, eventually, for me.

Best wishes,

Chris

A word of conversions¡…congratulations¡
I Think you can base the figures; with some decoration, flags …they can gain a lot¡

Hi and thank you for your support.
I did not base these yet as I am still foolishly waiting for the AWI figures from Hat. I'd really like to mix them properly.
Some of these were painted 10 years ago before I discovered washes so yes some faces require a new effort.
Stay safe everyone.

Hi CPN, great assortment!
I was wondering if you got my email according to AWI. Did you?

Hi ,
Fortunately you told me about the email as I investigated and it was in the junk mail.
So no I don't do metal although I dream about a plastic version of Hagen British artillery for AWI.
Kind regards.
