This was my contribution to the 50th Painting Competition. I painted this figure because I wanted the show to start! ;-)

This is the 2014 FIGZ figure. Wonderfull sculpted figure from Alex! :thumbup:

And the complete title was "Simply the best forum on earth!" :-D

Thanks to all who voted for me, not much, but it was fun! :thumbup:

Thank you for starting the competition and for all you do maintaining the site. There are some wonderfully creative souls here all seeming very willing to share their expertise and love of the hobby. It's simply the best.

Hi Peter,
"Simply the best forum" could not agree more.
But Napoleon was also "Simply the best wargamer" with his troops. At occasions he forgot they were humans after all. Alex figure is a good allegory

Great event of the forum the annual Painting Competition, Peter. :drool:

I hope to participate in its next edition. I have started designing mentally an original entry for it. ;-)

A very nice paint job on an iconic figure. And what a great competition he started. All of the entries are very strong, great to see but an agony to choose between.

I think he would approve of Benno's Forum.
