Bronze Age Civilians (Camp followers for DBA)

Posted by Kaiphranos on 19 Apr 2022, 22:21

It's been a busy month as I've been moving house and visiting family, but I found time to paint up some Bronze Age civilians to use as camp followers for some of my DBA armies.

The four adults are from various Caesar sets; the goats are from the Pegasus farm animals set, and the boy with the stick is an old Tarzan figure.

These look excellent, especially the woman holding her baby and vase/pot. Thanks for sharing!

Wonderful painted civilians and animals!

I recognize two figures from Set H042, one from Set H014 and one from Set H024. ;-)

Very different and very nice.

The Tarzan set brings back very old memories.

Best wishes,

Those are beautifully done. Nice work on the vase!!

You will se e some of those Pegasus goats kicking around in the background on my own gaming table at times!
I really like the idea of things like camp followers on the gaming table - they really add another level of visual appeal to the games. Thanks for sharing.

Really nice work.
That Boy from the Tarzan set is probably the most valuable figure in the old Airfix set.

I have a pile of the civilians from various Caesar sets & you've inspired me to do something with them.

These are fantastic little set pieces! I love the realism of the bases, the scattering of the pebbles among the bushes!
