WW1 & WW2 miscellany

Posted by Fire at Will on 03 Jun 2022, 13:31

A selection of bits finished at the end of May.

One of Strelets more unusual sets is a French field kitchen for circa WW1. The pack contained two field kitchens and a selection of associated figures. A bit of eye-candy for behind the lines.

Some German winter vehicles, the Opel Blitz and Kubelwagen are both Italeri and the RSOs are PSC with resin printed tracks.

Mediterranean Fallschirmjaeger heavy weapons with a Panzer III N. The FJ only came with the mortars and recoiless rifles and I will normally use the gun crews with some spare 50mm Pak 38s that I have put somewhere.

1940, French motorcycle combos and artillery plus a BEF bofors and tractor. The resin printed combos are very nice but the MG barrels are very fragile and 3 out of 4 lost their ends.

Finally a second Stug 33b, this time in late war camo, and a trailer with assault boats, that took quite an effort sorting out how to print on my printer.

Nice work Will. I particularly like the French kitchen. However, not enough big cuffs and curly wigs for me...

Great painted and presented stuff! My favourite is the French field kitchen. A very unusual set.....and I fear we will not see many new Strelets sets in the near future.

Nice work on these, Will. 3d printing a tank seems like a novel concept but tricky to pull off. What challenges did you face while using that process?
