Hi everybody, these are some reinforcements for my AWI armies.
On the revolutionary side, the 3rd New York Line Regiment and the Captain John Lamb’s New York Artillery Company.
British forces are 70th Regiment of Foot (including a Grenadier Company) and Royal Artillery.
Figures are a mega mix of Airfix, Revell, Italeri, A Call to Arms, Imex and conversions. The British gun is from Hat’s Prussian Artillery set. Imex guns are nice but very small and I thought that my Redcoats should be able to field something more impressive.
If this weekend I have time to take some pictures of the two full armies (so far…) displayed altogether, I’ll post them here as well.
Hope you like them and many thanks for stopping by.
3rd New York Regiment, Continental Line.
Captain John Lamb’s New York Artillery Company.
British 70th Regiment of Foot.
Grenadier Company.
British Royal Artillery.
Attacking the British outpost. Here you can have a better idea of how it works my system of building a scene base by base. Of course is not as good as a diorama but the good thing is that I can change it as many times I want.
Great collection of highly polished figures, painted perfect to my old eyes. Not a Bike Shed in sight, but Gosh! Them there Bases are top Notch work.Yes indeed. BB
