Way late to this thread, but I wanted to welcome you to the forum as well, Patrick. People here are not only incredibly talented but incredibly kind and generous with their critiques and comments as well. I enjoyed reading about your life trajectory, as I too put the hobby on the shelf between the ages of 20 and 40! On returning to it I found that the Internet had changed it completely and was amazed to discover the resources and online community that was out there.
For my birthday this moth I had a pile of figures from Blackwatch shipped to me here in Canada. I am deep into them now and will eventually share the results. I would agree with everyone else about the quality of those sculpts and look forward to seeing your own work on those. Your painting is very good.

nice to read your story and thanks for posting your nice figures. I have a great collection of Art Miniatures myself. I collect them since more than 20 years now, when they filled gaps in the range of units available in plastic.
