Konrad wrote:An excellent job! Another masterpiece from the great diorama builder.

I agree totally with Konrad's opinion, but I think he falls a little short in his praise. All of us know that Egbert isn't only a great diorama builder but also the best conversion master of the forum (I.M.H.O., of course).

I can't stop turning my eyes from one side of the diorama to the other to continue discovering new and wonderful details. The church is a great model as are the US cavalrymen, the Apaches and the terrain. I like a lot the wooden painted carriages. :notworthy:  :notworthy:  :notworthy:

My very best congratulations, Egbert. I always see you as an example to imitate in this hobby, my friend. ;-)

Santi.

Magnificent diorama. However, I could not find Sergeant Major Quincannon taking his dose of medicine.

Exactly so, and it was great to see the WIP posts to really appreciate the skill that has gone into this.

The finished result is just wonderful, the building, and groundwork, and figures have all fitted together so perfectly.

My dear friends,
thank you so much for your extraordinarily impressive and beautiful comments,
For some of them I'm already embarrassed and ashamed.

A masterpiece diorama!
There is a lot of action and movement in it and both the figures and the wagons are beautifully painted. The groundwork is also nicely done.
Thanks for sharing.
