make love not war! (WARNING! naughty nude figures)

Posted by Phersu on 26 Oct 2012, 19:23

Hi everybody!
Excuse me for having not posted any comment in these last months, but I was very busy on many contingencies, and despite giving regular looks to all your great works posted on the forum I didn't had time to post comments... :(

And I had no news neither...
My latest work I shown, the symposium figures and accessories, are not released yet...
However finally it's a matter of a short time, hopefully within about one month or before the end of this year at the latest.

This is a little preview of my latest work... something quite particular.
A dear friend of mine asked me if I could restore some faulty figures which were badly casted, the famous-unfamous "Classified X" set from MIR. :la:
There was many missing parts and empty bubbles in these figures, so the restore would be a really long work, which was no worth in my personal opinion.
So I thought, why spent so much time restoring these figures?
And why not spend this time sculpting completely new figures instead? :headbang:
And there we are, I sculpted these naughty subjects... :winky:

I made the masters of a set of 8 couples, plus 3 single standing figures.
Then I casted copies of these figures for the friend who wanted such subject and for me.
It was fun, and also a quite good challenging exercise sculpting all the anatomic parts and naked bodies...
The mold-making and the casting of some figures was quite difficult too, in some cases a real challenge due the complex shapes and protruding parts spreaded in all the different directions... :sweatdrop:
It was really difficult to avoid empty bubbles casting by hand without machinery, and slight shape deformations were unavoidable releasing such complex figures from the molds while not harden completely... there was no choice, if I left these figures castings harden completely something wold get broken during the release from the mold, damaging the mold or the figures. :boink:
But the outcome was no bad, despite not perfect.

I casted some copies of beds from the new symposium accessories to place the figures on the right suitable base.
I modified the beds making messy folded blankets with milliput putty, and in the same way I made the blue blanket (removable) to cover the couple shown in the photo below... ;-)

I apologize for the few censored images (and for my annoyed relief printed on the images), but I had been already reported on photobucket for a simple naked figure (the one I shown in the post viewtopic.php?f=2&t=7248&hilit=phersu)
You can see the rest of the figures uncensored at the following link writing the password "password" :xd:

Nice figures they remind me of the HO Noch nudist and "S.E.X.Y SCENES" figures.

Many of the military dioramas ( all scales) don't show violence and death for war is depicted as a pageant which is a pity. I suppose I prefer dioramas that are either not to do with conflict ( home front, soldiers at rest etc) and those that edge towards realism. I can't think of any model (again any scale) that shows a figure burnt to a crisp peeping out of Tiger's cupola but lots of Wittman or similar looking gallant. A bit of an imbalance. The world of miniatures applies a rigorous code of self censorship so it is good to see some challenges to that.
BTW censure would be what somebody may do to criticise your work ie strong rebuke or disapproval.
for example- He was censured for his flagrant disregard of the regimental dress code.

I think you mean censoring - ie blacked out naughty bits
"Excuse the censored pics"

Anyway no censure from me just admiration for your charming miniatures.

:) Nice job :)

... yet I wonder: How long will it take someone to make a little diorama featuring this lovely couple having fun, under the warm sun, at the shores of a beautiful river, cool breeze, a ruined house... and of course a panzer iv ausf. g (late production)...

Great figures! You must have done a lot of research ;-)

@Alex: I would like to see your figures too. Will they be produced some day?

Best Regards!

Thank you my friends!

David O'Brien wrote:censured for his flagrant disregard of the regimental dress code

Ha ha ha!
Like in the Sturmtruppen film, when a naked soldier was scolded by the sergeant...
And he argued that his uniform was in "perfectly shipshape", showing it hanging from a coat hanger.

Oh yes, a "deep" historical research...
Quite historical by now, unfortunately making love more with toysoldiers than in real life in these last times...

Alex wrote:I also have this issue, but I did not show here ...

I was sure that I wasn't the first to do such kind of figures... :winky:

YESSS!!! C'mon show your naughtiest figures too Alex!
These I've done are just ok, yours must be great masterpieces much better than mine!

About production... concerning mine, I was doubtful, but now I'm thinking about...
Sure is a tempting idea, and considered the welcoming appreciations probably worth.
Producing my last set drained my resources, perhaps next year once rebuild up some money...

Phersu

It is really wonderful that you sculpted these figures. Down with bigotry and hipocricy!!
Hopefully you will have some success - I mean financial - with your sculptings.

Best regards Michael
