Some new Work from me

After a long time, here a some newly painted figures from me. I'm looking forward to your comments!


A German officer on horseback (Revell)


A German NCO (Preiser; 1/87)


A Trapper (IMEX). He's for my long planned British Camp scene for AWI.


Roman Auxiliary soldiers (Zvezda). For me, the Centurio is one of the best figures, Zvezda has ever done.

I luckily bought the Lewis and Clark set on ebay for the regular price of € 9,99 last year . But unfortunately the Indian chieftains spear was broken

I have painted a little more:



Another Trapper (IMEX; it's actually a figure of William Clark. The one with the Racoon Cap above is the Meriwether Lewis figure). I changed his missculpted tricorn for one of Revells AWI sets.



A Wild West Sheriff (Revell). He's slated to look like Gary Cooper in "High Noon"

He really looks like Gary Cooper in High Noon! Also the other trapper is painted very nice!

by the looks of a couple posts it appears that this IMEX Louis and Clark set is tough to obtain. I happened to see that kit (packaged under the Billy V name) in my local hobby shop this weekend. Is anyone interested in it. I know nothing of its availability beyond the fact that I saw it with my own eyes. Please advise and we can communicate further.

Today I painted three of the French Cuirassiers from Zevzda. One day they are to go against British Infantry. These are very nice figures indeed, and I particulalry like the Trumpeter. I had to promote one of the troopers to Officer (simply carve out the crossbelt), because I accidentally broke off the sword of the officer pose.

Nice work on the cuirassiers, this has got to be my favourite set of 1/72 figures.

One more of the great Zvezda cuirassiers (this time with the correct red straps on the cuirass for the officer)



A 1815 Prussian Officer (the blue came out a little bit too glossy)



And a group of british AWI soldiers tidying up a canon (I know, that the british artillery had blue uniforms, but I wanted them in classical red)

Obviously, my favourte is the guy starring in the first image...
I enjoy a lot that you wanted and perfectly succeeded to give an early war appearance to him, as well as all small details you depicted...
Maybe some dust on his boots would be recommended, most of images of WWII German mounted troopers showing tehir boots quite dusty...

And one of the famous three musketeers (in honor to the flamboyant "The Musketeers" series from BBC I watched over the Christmas hollidays)
