Caesar Medieval Knights

Posted by Bramble15 on 13 Sep 2014, 00:59

Excellent set in my opinion. As many know I am not a detail freak, so if accuracy is off I apologize. I am mostly concerned with how they paint up, and as a result I believe these figures are fantastic. EXCEPT for the soft plastic that make some swords almost impossible to straighten out.

I never know that pink knights exits. Is this fantasy or a historical fact?

Thank you for the kind compliments.

With respect the pink night, there is no basis for that other than I wanted to try and get some use out of paints that don't usually get opened.
With respect to the "Captain America" knight, I found images on google that were reflective of an actual knight. I can say that I did take some liberties with the final look as I could not manage the actual look in 1/72.

Very clean and accurate work.
The sword of the red knight seems not to
be the best quality. :-D

Look plenty accurate enough. They kind of remind me of Elastolin figures.

Thanks! I'll have to add them to my HYW list. Makes a big difference seeing them painted.

Painting Knights is quite a bland endeavor....being mostly of metallic color. However, you did an awesome job of adding splashes of color and heraldry symbols.
Great brush work.
Bill.
PS: Love the Captain America Knight.

Nice job! Medieval Knights wore all sorts of crazy colours and combination, and yours could be said they are even "typical" considering some real examples :) . So great job painting them :) .
