Napoleon in Italy 1797 Part 3 French Attack

Posted by sansovino on 16 Jan 2015, 15:23

Besides some new photos of my Flandres Project I am posting today the last part of Napoleon in Italy.

I have made the diorama one year ago, that´s the reason that I mentioned a wrong year in my first two titles. The french campaign happened 1796-97 and not 1798. In 1798 the austrian army introduced the roman helmet for their infantry.

I have used besides many Hät-french infantry in this diorama also some boxes of Strelets Egyptian Campaign, especially the british light infantry box which wore the nearly same helmet like the french revolution light infantry. And there are also some Revell IAW-miniatures integrated with mostly other hats. And I have alternate many soldiers in their physical action to create more variety.

In reason of the bad physical condition of the french army during this campaign I have cut many of the french trousers and eliminate some shoes of the soldiers. Exceptionally the soft plastic of some hät- and strelets-miniatures were an avantage in this case.

Hope, you will like it.

sansovino, sorry to say,the pictures are all gone. I mention this now because you ,and others may not be aware, that if you place pictures from in your case Photobucket ,and after delete them from there the photo`s will disappear too wherever you have posted them. If you want unlimited storage of photo`s Open an Account at Tinypic`s to avoid this happening. This advice is for everyone who might be new to posting photo`s on Line.
I hope this helps. BB
