DBA Medieval French: mission accomplished

Finally! I did it! Using coffee grounds to make the mud effect paid off; thanks to @Mabbers for the suggestion. I post some pictures here, the rest on my blog http://flowersinyourcannons.blogspot.de/. I hope you like it.

Thanks for posting the pics! I have all these figures still in the box sitting on a shelf because I can't make my mind up on how I want to paint and base them. Thanks for providing several great examples.

(Although some of the crossbowmen seem to have missed the point of the pavise - it's supposed to allow you to turn your back to enemy fire for protection while you're reloading... )
