Italeri British Light Dragoons

Posted by Marvin on 13 May 2015, 20:07

Presenting the 3rd regiment in my ongoing 2015 Napoleonic cavalry project: the 13th Light Dragoons.

It's another Italeri set and another good one too I think. However, there is a horse in the set which has a weirdly positioned back leg. I resolved this by following Beano Boy's simple but excellent advice to bend it backwards - thanks go to him for that! ;-)

Thanks for looking, as always.

Wow! A splendid set of Light Dragoons, and painted so Fine and Dandy too. Glad my little advice was of help, and thank you too for the mention. A slight twist to the wrist of the last figure shown puts his hand in the right position ,and makes the pose more natural too.Right I`m off to visit your Blog! BB

These look great!! Besides the horses, I like the dark blues and muted yellows you used. They work very well together.

I missed this first time around but fortunately i found it and must say Marvin what absolutely splendid work you are producing. If i had to find a fault I think a pale blue background might be worth a try - it would place all the viewers' attention on the figures and not on your cutting mat etc...

Thanks!

Fair comment about the background too. At the moment it's either the cutting mat or my kitchen. And you really don't want to see my messy kitchen... ;-)
