Very well done! What type/scale figures are these?

Well - so far, so good. I like these - especially because I tried a Highland officer once and hated it so much that I never put my fingers onto a highland guy again.

I'm not quite sure which regiment they should represend.
You have proven that you're capable of painting very tiny things (the bagpipers' face looks great) - so why not give the tartan a second chance, there's still some potential for improvement. ;-)

You did a fantastic job on these Esci figures!

I suppose these are painted as the 92nd Gordon Highlanders with that blue and green tartan. ;-)

Ah, that might be. Then it's the yellow stripe that is missing on the tartan.

I can't comment - I'm scared off attempting them by all that tartan too...

Yes it is, but maybe to tiny to paint it visible in this scale! ;-)

Very nicely done. It's not every day you see eyes painted so well at this scale. Nice highlighting on the bonnets, too

Excellent work!

Another minor criticism is that the bonnet border should be "diced" or painted in a checkerboard pattern, but the painting style is superb.

The box image is a little misleading in that the checkerboard effect is a little unclear. It should look more like this:

Still, I think you've done a wonderful job on these.

Very nice paintwork indeed! What puts me off these figures is not the tartan but that the kilts are too short!

Fantastic paint job. Agreed about the eyes. I, too, thought those were 1/35 and had to scroll up to check.
