Excellent job! The work on shields is astonishing. I wonder how long did it take you to paint them all. Have you based them on 1 cent coins?

Agree. Making Strelets figures looking great is the main challenge, and makes Elsi work even greater.

The old adage goes, "A good paint job can fix a poor figure." You did an awesome job on these marginal minis.
The painting on the shields is phenomenal. ...miniature artwork.

I very much agree with the prior posts. Your shield painting is fantastic. Soon I hope to post some Romans I have done and I only wish I could have had you paint the shields!

I especially like the way you`ve finished off the Bases, ( Coins! ), on these figures.
I have quite a few boxes of these myself. It`s good to see that Strelets placed the shields to the front of the figures in this boxed set, and not in the suicide pose of some producers of the past. The shields look splendid, as indeed do your infantry. So Top Marks elsi from little old me. BB
