1/72 First to Fight - PAK36 (IMG&Link Review)

Posted by Panzer_Grenadire on 27 Aug 2015, 09:02

Although maintaining the unimpressive level of quality in terms of figs, First to Fight pleasantly surprise hobbyists with a very nice model of the cannon featured inside their “PAK 36 German Antitank Gun”, a multi-media kit supplying the gun in hard plastic and the toy-soldiers in soft one.
Lots of images with the set, including those of the magazine, sprues and box, as well as close-ups of the figs and cannon on the battle-field can be accessed here:

Thanks for the review and good job, as usual, with the conversions. It is a pleasure to see how much effort and skill you put forth to create your unique contributions to this hobby.

You're correct....the gun is good looking, but the figures are sub par.
Love the conversions. The camouflage netting on the helmets is a nice touch.

Kind thanks to all for your appreciation, I am happy you have enjoyed this review. Indeed, the gun is fair but FtF still have to work at their figs. I like their efforts in bringing something novel on the market with each of their sets. In this particular case, it is about the towing straps.... :-)
