Airfix Sherman

Posted by Luke05 on 18 Oct 2015, 18:07

Hello friends,

here I show you a new project that I creat during our vacations in Normandy. The Airfix Sherman that I have bought at the FIGZ. I have made it together with my dad straight out of the box. The decals are still missing.

But I have painted the tank riders.

So a little progress and maybe I can show somethig new, soon.

You are well on your way for a winning scene there, Söhnke :yeah:
Do not forget to use a matt varnish to make the uniforms more dull. ;-)

That's terrific....Father and Son enjoying the hobby together. Nicely painted figures.
Bill.
Ps: drilling out the tank barrel would give it more realism.

Nicely done model, but I don't think the regimental Health & Safety officer is going to be too happy; when the driver catches sight of that figure on the corner and steps on the brakes, the guy riding on the front glacis pate is going to end up under the tracks...  :(
