It looks amazing. I always like to see scenes made according to historical paintings.
Pity that some pictures are a bit darker.

Hello.

A Very nice idea and excellent painting.

As an observation however, I would suggest the flag would not be left lying on the ground as it would be either defended to the death or hastily removed to the rear as a trophy.

Keep up the good work.

Best wishes,

Chris

Kekso:
Yes, they are too much darks.
In the next job, I am going to do better pictures.
Thanks for you opinion!

Dadson:
you are right, but I put the flag on the floor because it is 28mm scale.
Its size can not see too much , Lying on the floor and stained . Though not a credible position for a napoleonic flag
Thanks for tell me this advice

Dear Alfredo,

thank you for the pictures.
A very good work - and photos.

I am sorry but:

the eagle/flag is not for 1815

The French lost only two eagles and
the Men of the Guard would not let an eagle from Napoleon on the ground...

Greetings
Thomas

Thomas:
You are quite right, Too bad I did not have a flag of 20 or 25mm! It would have been nicer and credible put the flag with the French, behind the wounded. And a gold Eagle.
Thanks for you information.

Good idea.
Nice done.
That the soldiers are dusty , dirty, battle worn is a nice touch. Looks real.

I like to reason it to be a Symbolic Flag_____________A Fallen Eagle!

The figures themselves both old and new look the part they play out within the picture that so inspired such a works as we do set our eyes upon here. Yes Indeed and i greatly admire this piece of fine art. BB
