Prussian Artillery Seven Years' War

Posted by bastl187 on 23 Aug 2016, 16:30

Hy,

years ago I painted figures and worked on a diorama project: http://bennosfiguresforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1995&hilit=hollabrunn by now unfinished, because for lack of time...

But, a few weeks ago I have seen these beautiful figures on a flew market, flat tin figures, Prussian Artillery. I could not resist ;-)

So I tasted blood and set up a new blog: http://sd-miniature.blogspot.co.at/ for further figures.

A bit unusual combination. This is first time I see diorama with flats. Scenery is good and figures are nicely painted.
Welcome back.

Normally with this kind of figures you only see one side painted, and are presented with a background. This is special indeed! ;-)

Nice job. I really like the total set up, even more so considering they are flat. Great work.

Lovely vignette, and the tree really get some sort of 'mood' to it.

Thanks for your compliment! Yeah they are my first flat tin figures, it was a try :-) They have a traditional style, which I like ;-)
