I'm back, with Napoleonics: 8th Neapolitan LIne Infantry

Posted by PhilC on 18 Sep 2018, 22:19

Hi everyone! It's been a long time, and I hope you will forgive me.
Let me show my last complete unit, a battalion of the 8th Neapolitan Line Infantry Regiment - white uniforms with pink garments. Kitsch, but nice :)

This unit is organized like a french line infantry battalion: 4 fusiliers companies, 1 voltigeurs company and 1 grenadiers company.
Most figures by Hät, with a few Accurate, one Newline Design drummer and a few conversions.

Hope you like them !

Welcome back here, PhilC.

Nice painting as always. And the conversions are looking good. The Accurate (A Call to Arms?) figures are very thin in contrast to the others. Reminds me of the recent HaT French Infnatry Marching topic.

NOPE !
You get a penal labour.
Hand paint a minimum of three 1/72 figures and show it to everyone in the world. Best you use a Forum.

Very nice pink guys. I like them. Some have to clean there shoes !
Do they cuddle the enemy down ?

Great painting and a nice departure from the more usual colour schemes. They are a fine sight.

You've done a very nice job on the "white" uniforms.

Thank you all for your warm welcome and your comments... and Wiking for the "penal labour" - I will paint a set of three musicians and display them on this forum :-D

Mabo, you're right, these minis come from the "French Infantry 1815" set by A Call to Arms, my mistake.
