I did what you wrote.
The idea:
Too often Benny Hill was running around till my father come home from work and switch off the TV to control my school homework.
The conversion:
I cut the Phersu (naked dancing ancient man) in two halves.
Glue the upper segment of a Preiser soldier on the lower part of the poor Phersu dancer.
The sculpting:
And with putty I sculpt his trousers down. With a small photo etched stripe and a piece of plastic he owned now his belt.
Not in the level of Phersu, Alexminiatures or Nicolai but it worked I think.
The modeling:
With the use of my soldering iron I bent the tip of one boot in an angle to get a area for super glue.
Fix the Preiser arms and the head-gear (you can`t visit such a lovely place without a -Stahlhelm-
).
