That river water effect is pure modeling magic.

Not the best lightning I've seen (strong shadows) but one can still see what an amazing work it is.

The scene itself is very impressive, one of the best I have ever seen.
But in fact, the photos don't exactly match the quality of the diorama. I suppose this is because of the sheer size of this work, making it quite difficult to get decent light in all corners, plus the suboptimal light conditions in the large hall where it is placed. But still, the effect is stunning!

Totally wonderful! Have many of the figures, hope to buy the rest. Hope to use the same method for water too! :-D

Absolutely magnificent diorama!

I've seen better lit, more detailed pictures of the various elements when they were posted here, so i don't mind the lighting on this general overview of the dio; I think it creates an Autumnal atmosphere which kind of matches with the vegetation outside the town. Works for me, fabulous post.

Do you know why this stands in a museum? Because it's pure art!

That is glorious! I love the figures, the buildings, the water, the small details. And the lighting - the strong shadows work well for me - lots of mood!
I would love to see the original one day.
