We have one of yours

I am amazed and honored that my entry did well in the 52nd competition. Thank you! I have had the basic idea in the back of my head for a very long time. Coming up with the cast of characters was a challenge. My intent was to depict the recovery/rescue of a downed World War One aviator by civilians. I imagined farmers working in the field watching a dogfight overhead that ended badly for the German pilot. Speira, Germania, and Black Army Modells figures and wagon with some minor conversion came together fairly well. Thanks again to Peter and all of the talented members on this forum.

Really different and very well done in my opinion.

I think the dead chap would be grey but overall excellent modelling.

Best wishes,

Chris

Very creative work Gardefar. Lots of yummy details for the eye to browse. A suggestion if I may would be to have a plume of smoke in the background, perhaps a simple painted backdrop would tie the scene together even more. Or perhaps that would be overstatement. A fine diorama at any rate and congratulations.
