20mm Devgru Blue Squadron

Posted by Ben Bob on 12 Jun 2022, 23:38

This unit represents a 16-man SEAL platoon from DEVGRU Blue Squadron ("Pirates"). I was attracted to this unit for its specialty weapons and camo compared to my recent project from the regular Army.

The miniatures are from Germania Figuren and are 3d printed in resin. Despite some small accuracy issues and soft details, the figures are nice. A couple poses are goofy, but I tried to make the best of them. The rest however were quite satisfactory.

I painted them in a verdant theme with Multicam and Navy AOR2 digital camo.

I like these two figures best (armed with MP7 and SCAR-H). All weapons were nicely modelled and accurate.

Here's a comparison of the AOR-2 (left) and Multicam.

By the time you see them, it's already too late.

Great job on those Seal Team units.

Great! Nice attention to detail - glad you pointed out the difference in those two camo patterns!
But you are right, the dog pose is super Goofy. :xd:

Hello Ben Bob,
not so easy to see your figures. Too much camouflage. Don't see any Goofy neither, they look up to serious business.
Good work
Greetings
Michael
