Some Japaneses Artillery, etc.

These are all 3D printed extras to support my Strelets WW2 Japanese.

All the 20mm AA guns and crew are sourced as STL files and printed on my 3D printer. Similarly the trucks, although I have problems with uncured resin remaining in the cavities (I had to bin one as I couldn't recover it). The 47mm AT guns are 3D printed, but the crew are from my Waterloo 70mm infantry guns, I need to find some proper crew for these.

Well, despite your trials and tribulations, Will, I'd say that these look very nice.

Would I be correct in saying that it is 'easier' to print a small item like one of these light artillery pieces, rather than a larger item - like one of the trucks?

Are any of the figures shown here 3D prints?

I'm fascinated by the idea of 3D printing and very much enjoy seeing your results, which look very good! It must be especially handy to fill in bits of an army that aren't easily available.
I love the look of Japanese artillery, some of it so early 20th Century with their large spoked wheels.

In general, yes, but as you get smaller the risk of breakages increases, I did have to reprint a couple of bits for these guns as I broke them detaching them from the build plate.

The 20mm AA crew are all 3D printed, they are 28mm (1/56) scaled down.

You must have a lot of space
with the amount of armies you always show here. :-D

Yes, I'm lucky, but it is becoming a long crawl to the end of the row of boxes in my attic, and I might need to extend the flooring!! but still plenty of space up there!!

Yes, I think I know the 'problem' (which is one of those 'nice-to-have' ones)!

I moved a large part of my stash to a garage some time ago, and have been sorting it this afternoon in 30 degrees of summer heat :( I seem somehow to have amassed far more Napoleonic figures than I realised....and that is only part of the story!

And besides, all of my WW2 stuff and my ACW too is still up in the loft..... :-D
