British and Spanish general staff

I finally got around to photographing some of the output from my painting table over the past few months, starting with these British and Spanish officers. The two Spanish figures will serve as ADCs (both Black Watch, one with a slight modification) and the British officers are mostly from the Italeri British and Prussian Allied General Staff set, with a couple of conversions for ADCs. I have more photos on my blog as well as WIP's if you are interested.
Hope you enjoy them!

Very nice indeed.

Your sculpting is better than you state on your blog.

Talking of which the Bennoes link doesn’t work.

Excellent work as always.

Best wishes,

Chris

These look fantastic Bill. I'm particularly fond of the first Spanish officer. The posing of these groups is excellent as well as the painting.
Cheers,

Thanks, Chris and Bessiere. I will try setting up the link again to my blog post, Chris - not certain why the first one didn't take.

The conversions are really nice. Staff officers are so rare. I am actually happy, that Art Miniaturen released and rereleased Prussian and Brunswick staff personal and command sets.

I totally agree with Chris about your sculpting skills, Bill, but also with you, because your paint work always improves every figure you paint, whether it has been transformed or not.

Another great job!

Absolutely splendid command figures Bill. I love the way you have chosen and grouped your figures together on their bases. Not just here may I add. I think it’s a hallmark of your work……
I especially love command bases and these are some delightful examples…… more, please!

More coming, k.b. I'm still a wee bit short on the command end!
