Then I wonder how such a yellow colour would age when on campaign. Certainly less "bonbon". Probably we'll never know. On a gaming table or in a diorama this yellow will be terrific.

Yellow is quite an unusual uniform colour for the 'horse and musket' era (1700 to c.1850), and I suspect there is a good reason for relatively few units being clothed in this colour; in other words, that yellow dyes were not very good at staying yellow, and so became bleached or even changed hue slightly when exposed to sun and rain.
Even so, these brave Swiss warriors do look very nice in their bright yellow coats!
