Happy Easter - to all who celebrate

Posted by Kekso on 11 Apr 2020, 16:38

I wish you and your families all the best and lots of health.
I'm not sure about other countries, but in Croatia it is tradition to paint (hard boiled) eggs and to exchange them with family and friends. This is not my idea but it is my work. I hope you like it.

Very appropriate and very nicely done.

Happy Easter to You and Your family and to all here at Benno's.

Painting eggs used to be the tradition in Britain and my primary school used to have us decorate eggs to bring in. But from my generation onwards I think the kids became more interested in the chocolate eggs.

Interesting update; I went to buy eggs on Thursday and found the supermarket shelves nearly empty. It seems that with the kids all at home during the lockdown parents are desperately trying to find things to occupy them and the tradition of painting Easter eggs is seeing a revival. :-D
