It is quite confusing. And sometimes I get comments from other people on Imgur.

One of the first things I did on Imgur is work out how to store my pics privately. I've been trying to work out how I did it so I can tell you.

It seems that You can load Your pics into Your personal gallery and they will stay private unless you post or share them to the public gallery.

When You log on to Imgur, don't click on the "New Post" button on the top left of the screen (this will post to the public gallery).

Instead, click on Your username at the top right of the screen and select "Images" from the drop down menu.

This will take You to Your personal gallery. You can drag and drop images into the drop box here, or click on "Add Images", and they will stay in Your private gallery unless you share them to the community. You can also resize the images before uploading (640x480 used here).

Once the images are uploaded, click on an image and you will be given a list of sharing codes for posting to Bennos or elsewhere. The BB Code(forums &message boards) works on Bennos.

The public gallery on Imgur is for Gifs and Memes (whatever they are) and a lot of people saying "Hey everybody, look at me!" I prefer to share pics just with the people who might also like small plastic Druids. (or Napoleons, or...).

Mr Paul,or plain BB,it is all the same 2 little o'll me.

Just don't call him late for tea.

I'm sure that's not possible if You just adopt the attitude "anytime is tea time".

Good to hear you're ok BB. I think I'm local to you (Norwich?) so if you had needed anything I would happily have sorted it.

I use Imgur and so far have not had any problems. I set the images to private I think so have never had messages etc sent to me. System seems to work ok for me.

Some great looking photographs PaulRPetri,
that's the kind of action i enjoy seeing...
and not the real burning ones upon your city streets.

i post public on imgur myself and all my pics are in neat files of my fancy.
i must say i caused quite a stir by posting my pictures publicly,
because i've been approached to download an entire book from start to finish.
200 Pictures in one go... no way!
Such frustrated demands are pretty cool though,
because i put Links to this Forum,YouTube and my own Blog.
That sure was a Beano Boy moment !
And such Links are allowed on imgur, so break no rules.

imgur, is a clear cut way of redirecting you photographs for free
using their Links to Forums.

America is having some really big problems. I must confess that on the 16 of this month I will have been retired from the Police for four years. My wife and kids couldnt be happier. That goes for me as well.
