Hello There,
I registered just to respond to your question.
There are only simplified figurines made by Galoob, Micro Machines in about 1/76 scale (they fit well Matchbox and most Airfix figurines - they are made in the same scale). Pre-painted figurines are made of vinyl and are more toys than models, but I really like them. It's vinyl, so they are very easy to convert, glue and paint.
Micro Machines made more figurines than usually can be seen on collettor's sites, so it's hard to find out what you can find, but most of the figurines can be find cheap on eBay. I have found only one complete list of these. Here you are:
https://www.facebook.com/StarWarsMicroM ... tos_stream Galoob made also Micro Machines Action Fleet - this is something different. Figurines are much bigger, around 26-28mm, but some simplified models can be used as vehicles for Micro Machine figurines.
Galoob was solt to Hasbro and later Hasbro made some figurines called "Micro", these were bigger a bit, probably closer to 1/72, but there was only few pilots, heroes, badly made.
"Risk Star Wars - Clone Wars" was made with figurines simplified of Clone Troopers and Heavy Battledroids, they can be used with Galoob. There was also "Risk - Star Wars", unfortunatelly figurines are much smaller, around 14mm high.
There is no models in real 1/72, except for Fine Molds 1/72 Millennium Falcon model (maybe other Fine Molds kits have figurines too) which comes with 2 beautiful Stormtroopers, Han Solo and Chewbacca. Unfortunately Model is exceptionally expensive, so I hope to meet someone who have that model and would like to sell figurines or make some copies or allow me to make some...
Revell also made few models in 1/72 (as they say, I don't have them, yet). "Imperial Shuttle" comes with 2 simplified sitting figurines (Imperial Officer and Stormtrooper) and Millenium Falcon with Solo and Chewbacca, but even smaller than Galoob. Maybe some other Revell models have pilots, but there is no scale, so I need to see these.
I'm still looking for Galoob and Star Wars figurines similar to 1/72 scale, so if anyone is collecting these maybe he could add something to my list or have something to exchange?
With Regards,
Bartosz
P.S; I'd like to say hello to everyone, so; Hello There!
