Thanks for the info on the paint colors. I was only joking about the reason Poland lost in 1939. I agree it was a shameful lapse by England and France to let that happen. Many of the brave Polish men escaped, especially pilots, and fought hard under other allied commands right up until the war's end. Despite being abandoned and hemmed in from both sides, the Poles fought like tigers and gave a very good account of themselves.

Polish 10th Cavalry Brigade (in 1939 unit kept its traditional name, but it was motorised infantry brigade) was known as Black Brigade - its soldiers worn black jackets and ex-german WWI helmets so everything is fine on this figures.
Very nice polish army and great painting, you need to complete them with lancers on horses because they look much more modern than they were, horse cavalry was still used in 1939-40.
Great stuff kaktus, that`s a might prickly name! My favourite is the Germans on the Motor Bikes! However I like all that you have posted.I especially found it interesting concerning Polish Uniforms & Helmets! So thank you. As for all your painting ,you are a Top Man! Those Bases are a Dream! Well done. BB
