Give me one dio with thousands of figures... that's my greatest pleasure in this hobby ! But if they're of good quality (Cröbern... Wachau...) that's my dream.

I must say quantity... I am a wargamer and have thousands of soldiers, if I have to paint the smallest pouch of every one of them, I'll become insane  . Of course, past a certain degree is not worth quantity if the quality is too poor.

But for example, lately I am painting modern soldiers, just painting camo, flesh, weapon and boots as fast as I humanly can :P and I am very happy with it. With ancient soldiers it's not the same in lots of cases, each soldier must have some "character" of it's own.

Yes quantity, and lot`s of it too. In my case I would say" I used to be normal and that`s what drove me mad." Then after such a wonder I began to paint model`s. Gosh! I`d just hate to be normal again. One could go Sane just thinking about it. BB

Quality: entirely up to me, I paint for myself not to someone else's arbitrary measure of quality or some fictitious standard. These statements of figures painted to 'Gaming' standard, 'display' standard, etc annoy me. Standards are supposed to be written, achievable and agreed by the majority of those engaged in the field. As far as I know there are no ISO standards for toy soldiers.

Quantity: gamer, so obvious.

Only my humble opinion of course ;-)

I want both, but since I don't have much time nor talent I settle for quantity. But not that much of it. :-D
