Flandres 1918 Trench-War

Posted by sansovino on 17 Jan 2015, 17:28

Hi,

I have finished the diorama-part above ground.

British forces (scottish and english) are attacking a german trench.

The miniatures are mostly Emhar and Revell besides the scottish which were from Hät. The were alternate to create more action.

I have made mixed with "real photos" and "photos in old style". Decide you which version you like more!

There are also two underground caverns which have to be fill still with action - one officers-cavern and one for the ordinary troops.

You can find still some picture more my Photobucket

Thanks a lot! It was a hard work, especially all details of the trenches and the wire-barricade.

Wiking, the groundplate is 48 x 56 cm. And the diorama is stored in an old closet.
There are still two bunkers - one commando-bunker, one ordinary - integrated in the project which I try still to finish. I want to fix still in the bunkers realistic artifical lights but didn´t find until today any affordable technical solution. So the diorama is still a project.
