Revell’s “German Infantry” is certainly one of the most popular 1/72 mass-production sets in the field, occupying a special place in the hearts of elder hobbyists. Issued in 1990, for more than 15 years the set had stood as the only soft plastic choice in terms of winter WWII Germans and might be considered one of the best Revell releases.
Obviously, for the first time I painted this set at the beginning of 90’s, but the figs here presented are finished at my nowadays standards. The conversions are done in that far period, but rather than binning, mostly because of the sentimental value, I decided to repaint them.
The review and a large number of images, including close-ups for all poses and other stuff of interest are displayed at this link:

Remembering me a period when I often preferred to purchase and paint a set or kit than going out with my girlfriend (things have not much changed even nowadays, only the status), and thinking I was not the only one in that situation, I would like to dedicate this review to hobbysts’ girlfriends and wives, which have to endure us and live tally with our plastic mistress.
